Preparing the tractor

For optimal work results, prepare the tractor for plow operation.

  1. Select a tractor for which the track width 2 at the front and rear differs by no more than 3,94 in (10cm).
  2. Select a tractor for which the lower links run apart in a V-shape when the plow is mounted.
  3. Adjust the tire pressure of the front wheels uniformly on both sides.
  4. Adjust the tire pressure of the rear wheels uniformly on both sides.
NOTE

The required tire load capacity must be ensured.

  1. Adjust the lifting struts 1 to the same length.
  2. If possible, switch off the front axle suspension.
