Function of the machine

The machine enables seeding with simultaneous fertiliser spreading in one field pass.

The guide wheels ensure that the seed drill maintains a uniform working depth. In combination with a crushboard, the guide wheels ensure a uniform working depth, so that larger clumps of soil are broken up and a fine crumbly soil structure is produced.

The T-Pack tyre packer breaks up clods and clumps, and levels out the soil. The disc array enables mulch seeding and conventional plough seeding. The cutting discs positioned inclined to the direction of travel crumble the soil and level the seedbed.

The spreading material is carried in the hopper. The hopper can have up to 3 hopper chambers. Each hopper chamber has a metering unit, which is driven by an electric motor. The set metered quantity enters the air flow generated by the fan and is conveyed to the distributor head with recirculation. In the distributor head, the spreading material is distributed evenly over all coulters.

The 3 hopper chambers are used to carry various products. The products in the hopper chambers can also be the same. The content of these hopper chambers can be routed to the TwinTeC plus double-disc coulters.

The Cirrus with the designation "C" has one conveyor section and one distributor head, which supplies the TwinTeC plus double-disc coulters. The hopper chambers are emptied either simultaneously or consecutively, beginning with the rear or front hopper chamber.

The field pass can be marked at the centre of the tractor by the track markers.

The roller has an integrated running gear for road travel. When folding the machine sections, the centre tyre packers are moved into transport position so that the machine runs on 4 running gear wheels.

After unfolding, all tyres are always on the ground to minimise pressure on the soil as much as possible.

Machines with swivelling machine sections must be folded for road travel.

The machine can be equipped with a dual-circuit pneumatic brake system.
