Adjusting the working depth of the crushboard

The crushboard's working depth is determined by the position of the corresponding hydraulic cylinder in a retracted state. The working depth can be adjusted by inserting or removing spacers. Moreover, the crushboard can be deactivated if necessary.

The maximum working depth is achieved when no spacers are in contact with the piston. The working depth decreases with an increasing number of spacers.

If the implement is on the headland, the tools do not need to be lifted using the control terminal.

  1. If the implement is not on the headlands:

    Lift the tools.
  2. Remove the linch pin 1 and pull out the pin 3.
  3. To reduce the working depth:

    Insert additional spacers 2

or

To increase the working depth:

Remove a corresponding number of spacers.
  1. Insert the pin and secure with the linch pin.
  2. Make the same adjustment on all setting elements.

The hydraulic cylinder is retracted up to the set spacer.

  1. To check the setting:

Seed for 30m at working speed and then check the work pattern.
