Adjusting individual discs on the disc array
The outer discs and the discs that work in the tractor track can be adjusted individually.
In the area of the tractor track, the discs can be adjusted as required.
In the outer area of the disc array, the discs should be adjusted such that the no ridges are formed and the soil is properly mixed.
When delivered, the outer discs are bolted in the basic position. The marking 3 indicates the basic position.
- Loosen the nuts 1 and 2 and unscrew the upper bolt 5.
NOTE
When loosening the soil, tilling 1cm deeper causes much more soil movement.
Carefully adjustment of the implement saves fuel and protects the implement and the soil.
- Set the disc at the desired height and reposition the upper bolt 5.
- Tighten both bolts 4 and 5 with the nuts.
To check the setting:
Seed for 30m at working speed and then check the work pattern.
