Calibrating the metering unit

Perform the calibration on all metering units consecutively. The sequence of the metering units can be freely selected.

  1. Unlock the locking lever 1 of the calibration conveyor section.
  2. Open the calibration flap 2.
  3. If a double sluice is installed, activate the calibration conveyor section:

Unlock the control lever 3. Move it to the desired position.
  1. Take the calibration bucket 1 from the storage compartment.
  2. Push the calibration bucket into the holder 2 under the metering housing.
  3. When 2 hoppers are combined, the corresponding metering units rotate simultaneously:

Prepare the other metering unit for calibration in the same way.
  1. To start the calibration via the control terminal:

Refer to the ISOBUS software operating manual, Calibration menu.
  1. Perform the calibration with the desired calibration method.
  1. Hang the digital scale on the holder under the loading board.
  2. To determine the weight of the spreading material:

hang the calibration bucket on the scale.
NOTE
The application rate should be checked again after two hectares.
  1. To achieve a deviation of less than 3 percent:

Repeat the calibration test until the desired application rate is achieved.
  2. Empty the calibration bucket.
NOTE
If the calibration flap was not properly closed or a seal in the calibration flap is defective, the desired hopper internal pressure will not be reached.
  1. Close the calibration flap 2.
  2. Lock the locking lever 1 on the metering housing.
  3. If equipped, perform the calibration in the same way on the second and third metering unit.
  4. Empty the calibration bucket and stow it in the storage compartment.
