Turning on the headlands
REQUIREMENTS
Tool automatic headland lifting system is activated on the control terminal.
The metering roller in the metering unit is stopped by lifting the tools or by the Section Control command. Seed emerges from the coulters until the seed lines are empty. If necessary, the time window for lifting and lowering the tools can be adjusted.
To avoid fan speed fluctuations:
Give the tractor control unit for the fan drive priority. If the implement has a T-Pack:
slightly raise the implement using the lower links. If the implement has a wheel mark eradicator:
Lift the wheel mark eradicator with the blue 2 tractor control unit.- Before turning, lift the tools with the green 2 tractor control unit.
To avoid damage to the implement:
Pay attention to obstacles when turning.
If the implement is not lowered again immediately after turning:
Switch off the fan
or
If the seed circulates too long in the segment distributor head:
actuate to release fresh seed into the segment distributor head.
When the direction of the implement matches that of the direction of travel:
Lower the tools with the green 1 tractor control unit.- If equipped, lower the wheel mark eradicator with the blue 1 tractor control unit.
If the implement has a T-Pack:
put the hydraulic system of the three-point power lift into float position
or
For sandy soils:
move the hydraulic system of the three-point power lift into the set working height.
or
If the implement has a crushboard:
Lock the hydraulic system of the 3-point power lift.
