Segment distributor head

An air current conveys the spreading material to the segment distributor head.

The segment distributor head distributes the spreading material to the individual outlets 1 and guides it to the coulters through the seed lines.

When the flaps 1 are in spreading position, the spreading material is guided to the coulters.

When the flaps are in the recirculating position, the spreading material is guided back into the conveyor section 2. The air current escapes through the coulters. To ensure that the spreading material reaches the placement point without delay, the spreading material circulates in the segment distributor head. To work with a constant spread rate, the spread rate is automatically adjusted with every row that is switched off. For user-defined row spacings, the single-row control on the segment distributor head can be used.
