Adjusting the intensity of the cutting roller

REQUIREMENTS

  • The cutting roller is lifted into transport position.

  1. Pull out the linch pin .
  2. Pull out the pin.

  3. To increase the intensity of the cutting roller:

    Swivel fewer spacer elements onto the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder

or

To reduce the intensity of the cutting roller:

Swivel more spacer elements onto the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder.
NOTE

Swivel in spacer elements 1 to 6 from the fastening side of the hydraulic cylinder.

Swivel spacer elements 6 to 1 away from the cylinder side.

  1. Insert the pin through all of the spacer elements.
  2. Secure the pin with the linch pin.
  3. Make the same adjustments on all setting units.
