Checking the AutoTS spreading vanes for fertiliser

The technical condition of the spreading vanes plays an important role in uniform lateral distribution on the field. Worn spreading vanes can cause the formation of stripes.

  1. Check the spreading vanes and telescopes for ruptures and perforations.
  2. Replace worn spreading vanes and telescopes.

  3. If spreading disc TS 30 is used with telescope D:

    Install an additional balancing weight under the short spreading vane. Secure with the wing nut.

  4. To reach the specified tightening torque:

    Apply assembly paste on the bolts.
