  1. Perform a visual inspection to check if the conveyor belt is centred on the rear deflection roller.

The maximum permissible tolerance is 10mm.

  1. Centre the conveyor belt if necessary.

If the automatic floor belt control cannot prevent the conveyor belt from deviating outwards, the drive drum must be adjusted. Make the setting on the left side.

To centre the conveyor belt, follow the procedure below.

  1. Clean the conveyor belt, Cleaning the inside of the conveyor belt.
  2. Loosen the bolts of the side sealing plates 1 on both sides, the conveyor belt scraper 2 and the drive drum scraper on the left 3.
  3. Loosen the bolts for the left flange bearing 4.
  4. Readjust the conveyor belt using the setting screw 5 by 1/2 a turn. Secure with nuts.

Conveyor belt deviates to the left, turn the screw out.

Conveyor belt deviates to the right, turn the screw in.

  1. Retighten the bolts on the left flange bearing. Ensure that the flange bearing rests on the setting screw.
  2. Run the conveyor belt for 5 minutes using the Empty hopper function.
NOTE

At the same time, a second person must watch the conveyor belt.

  1. If the conveyor belt is not centred:

    Repeat the adjustment.
  2. Retighten the bolts of the side sealing plates. Adjust the scraper of the conveyor belt to a gap of 1mm and the scraper of the drive drum without a gap to 0mm.
NOTE

The next time fertiliser is spread, check floor belt for leak tightness.
