Using the seat belt

  1. Pull the seat belt 2 smoothly out of the belt retractor 1.
  2. Pull the seat belt by the belt tongue 3 over your hips.
  3. Press the belt tongue into the belt buckle 4.

When the belt tongue engages audibly, the seat belt is locked.

  1. Ensure that the seat belt is not twisted or jammed.
  2. Ensure that the seat belt does not run over sharp edges or fragile objects.

  3. To unfasten the seat belt:

    Press the button 5 on the belt buckle.
