Using Category 4 cab air filters

Only used labelled cab air filters that are approved according to EN 15695-2:2017.
Make sure that the cab air filter is properly sealed.
ensure that the packaging of the cab air filter is not damaged.
Use the cab air filter within 30 months from the date of manufacture.
Follow the instructions from the manufacturer of the cab air filter.

If the machine is equipped with a Category 1 cab, it must not be used to apply such crop protection products, because air-tight protection against hazardous substances cannot be ensured. Protection is also not ensured if the cab complies with Category 1 and is equipped with Category 4 cab air filters.

Upon delivery, the cab is equipped with standard cab air filters against dust. The cab therefore complies with Category 2. To achieve protection in compliance with Category 4, the supplied Category 4 cab air filters must be installed.

  1. Release the locks 1.
  2. Open the cover 2.
  1. Pull out both standard cab air filters 1 by the loops 2.
  1. Ensure that the new Category 4 cab air filters are labelled as Filter for cab Category 4 in accordance with EN 15695-2:2017.
  1. Insert both Category 4 cab air filters 1.
  2. Press both cab air filters in on the 4 corners.
  3. Ensure that the cab air filters are completely flush and sealed.
  1. Close the cover 1.
  2. Engage the locks 2.
