Cleaning or replacing the Category 1 cab air filter and circulation filter

NOTE
The filters must be replaced in accordance with the specifications from the filter manufacturer.
WARNING
Health hazard due to dust and toxic substances
When the filter system is open, wear breathing protection, gloves and suitable protective clothing.
CAUTION
Health hazard due to installed or defective cab air filter
Make sure that the cab air filter is correctly fitted.
Replace damaged cab air filters and sealing profiles.
CAUTION
Risk of falling while changing the filter
Always ensure that you are in a stable position.
Make sure that you always have three-point contact.
  1. Release the locks 1.
  2. Open the cover 2.
  1. Pull out both cab air filters 1 by the lugs 2.
  2. Vacuum clean, knock or blow-out cab air filters with soiling on the surface with compressed air.
  3. If the cab air filters are damaged or the maintenance interval has been reached:

    Change the cab air filters.
  1. Pull out the circulation filter 1.
  2. Vacuum clean, knock or blow-out circulation filters with soiling on the surface with compressed air.
  3. If the circulation filter is damaged or the maintenance interval has been reached:

    Change the circulation filter.
  4. Slide the circulation filter into the shaft to the stop.
  1. Insert both cab air filters 1.
  2. Press both cab air filters in on the 4 corners.
  3. Ensure that the cab air filters are completely flush and sealed.
  1. Close the cover 1.
  2. Engage the locks 2.
