Protecting the spraying equipment against frost

IMPORTANT
Risk of machine damage due to frost
Observe the following instructions.
  1. Unfold the boom, Unfolding the boom.
  2. Perform intensive cleaning, Performing quick cleaning or intensive cleaning.
  3. Empty the flushing water tank.
  4. Run the spray liquid pump on the TwinTerminal.
  5. Couple the suction hose on the suction connection. Place the other end of the suction hose in a container with antifreeze.
  1. Select on the TwinTerminal and confirm.
  1. Select on the pressure valve chest DA.
  1. Fill at least 100l of propylene glycol based antifreeze into the flushing water tank.
  2. Select on the TwinTerminal and confirm.
  3. Select on the pressure valve chest DA.

The antifreeze will be pumped into the spray liquid tank.

  1. Select on the TwinTerminal and confirm.

The antifreeze will be pumped into the liquid circuit.

  1. Select on the pressure valve chest DA. Wait for 30 seconds.
  2. Select on the pressure valve chest DA. Spray antifreeze into the induction bowl for 30 seconds using the spray lance of the external wash-down device.
  3. Select on the pressure valve chest DA.
  1. Select on switch tap IJ.
  2. Select on switch tap QU.
  1. To ensure that antifreeze is distributed into all of the lines:

On the induction bowl, move switch taps EA and EB into every position consecutively and activate each of the corresponding functions for 10 seconds.
  1. Select on the pressure valve chest DA. Briefly run the agitator at maximum intensity and then switch it off.
  2. Activate circulation cleaning on the TwinTerminal.
  3. Spray into the spray liquid tank with the spray lance for 10 seconds.
  4. If the machine is equipped with HighFlow+:

Select on the HighFlow+ switch tap.
  5. Select on the TwinTerminal and confirm.
  6. Start the spraying procedure on the ISOBUS control terminal and wait until antifreeze emerges from the nozzles.
  7. Switch the part-width section control on and off several times

or

With AmaSelect: switch through all nozzle positions.

  1. Switch the boundary nozzles and edge nozzles.
  2. Place a collection bucket under the emptying connection and collect some of the liquid.
  3. Check liquid in the collection bucket for adequate water to antifreeze ratio.
  4. If there is not enough antifreeze:

Add more antifreeze and repeat the procedure.
  1. Activate the vent valve of the suction filter 1 for 20 seconds.

The suction filter will be suctioned empty.

  1. Select on the stop tap DE.

The pressure filter will be drained.

  1. When spray liquid no longer flows out:

    Close the stop tap DE.
  1. If the machine is equipped with line filters:

Drain all line filters with the stop tap 1.
  2. Close the stop taps for the line filters.

If the machine is equipped with HighFlow+, the HighFlow+ pressure filter 2 must also be cleaned.

  1. Place a collection bucket under the drain hose in front of the right rear wheel.
  2. Select on the HighFlow+ switch tap 1.
  3. Drain the liquid until the HighFlow+ pressure filter is drained.
  4. Unscrew the HighFlow+ pressure filter, clean it and screw it back in.
  5. Place the HighFlow+ switch tap back in its initial position.
  1. Remove the adapter from the pressure sensor on the Super-L boom.
  2. Drain the pressure sensor.
  3. Install the adapter.
  1. Remove the adapter from the pressure sensor on the right agitator under the cover.
  2. Drain the pressure sensor.
  3. Install the adapter.
  1. Remove the pressure sensor for the flushing water tank underneath the flushing water tank.
  2. Drain the pressure sensor.
  3. Install the pressure sensor.
  1. Reuse the mixture of antifreeze and spray liquid

or

Dispose of the mixture correctly.

  1. Empty the hand wash unit. Leave stop tap HW open.
