Reducing the working width on both sides

REQUIREMENTS

  • The machine is parked on a level surface.

  • Boom is completely unfolded.

  1. Select the Work menu on the ISOBUS control terminal.
  2. / Align the boom parallel to the ground.
  3. Lock the boom.
  4. In the menu Settings > Profile > Part-width section control on the ISOBUS control terminal, enter the desired working width.
  1. Fold the boom to the desired width. Always move the individual sections into the completely folded end position.

The boom sections are folded one after the other from the outside to the inside.

The distance sensors must be correctly set for the reduced working width. This is necessary for DistanceControl and ContourControl to work properly, and the boom height can then be correctly transmitted to the ISOBUS control terminal.

  1. Disconnect the connectors for the outer distance sensors 1 on both sides.
  2. Unscrew the bolts for the outer distance sensors on both sides.
  3. Install the outer distance sensors each rotated by 180°.
  4. Ensure that the inner distance sensors 2 do not collide with the boom. If necessary, realign the inner distance sensors.
  5. If the machine is equipped with DistanceControl:

Disconnect the connectors for the inner distance sensors on both sides

or

If the machine is equipped with ContourControl:

In the menu Settings > Profile > Boom behaviour on the ISOBUS control terminal, deactivate the inner distance sensors.

  1. Select the menu Settings > Profile > Part-width section control on the ISOBUS control terminal.
  2. / Switch off the part-width sections on the folded boom sections

or

/ Switch off the single nozzles on the folded boom sections.
