Performing track correction

WARNING
Risk of accident due to incorrectly set track and when performing the track correction
Perform the track correction every day.
Do not perform track corrections in public areas or on roads.
Only perform the track correction at walking speed.
IMPORTANT
Boom damage due to overload
Exceeding the permitted boom load can damage the boom.
Do not perform track corrections with the boom unfolded.
NOTE
The number of times the permissible boom load is exceeded will be documented.
Please note that if there are any claims for goodwill, depending on the damage pattern, the counter values can be consulted.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Field mode is activated.

Perform track correction for the front wheels:

  1. Drive straight ahead at walking speed.
  2. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and hold it there.
  3. Hold the button 1 in the position for at least 3 seconds and then release it.
  4. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and hold it there.
  5. Hold the button in the position for at least 3 seconds and then release it.

Perform track correction for the rear wheels:

  1. Continue driving straight ahead.
  2. Select all-wheel steering on the AmaDrive vehicle terminal.
  3. On the AmaPilot+, turn the rear wheels all the way to the left.
  4. Hold the button in the position for at least 3 seconds and then release it.
  5. On the AmaPilot+, turn the rear wheels all the way to the right.
  6. Hold the button in the position for at least 3 seconds and then release it.
  7. Change back to front-wheel steering on the AmaDrive vehicle terminal.

The rear wheels move to the centre position.

  1. Drive a short distance straight ahead. In doing so, check that all the wheels are aligned.
  2. If the wheels are not aligned:

    Repeat the track correction.
