Reducing the working width using a folding reduction joint

REQUIREMENTS

  • The machine is parked on a level surface.

  • Boom is completely unfolded.

To reduce the working width, the outer element of the outer boom section can be folded manually using the reduction joint 1.

  1. Remove the bolts 2. Take off the protective profile 4.
  2. Remove the bolts 5.
  3. Fold the outer element 3 by hand.
  4. Secure the position of the outer element with the bolts 5.
  5. Fasten the protective profile with the bolts 2.
  6. Switch off the nozzles on the outer element.
