The nozzles do not close completely.

The nozzle bodies are calcified.

Follow the instructions from the manufacturer.
NOTE
Commercial cleaning additives are strongly alkaline and therefore neutralise spray agent residues such as sulphonylurea in the spray liquid tank. In case of limescale in the machine, however, the cleaning additives increase the pH-value and are therefore counterproductive for descaling.

Indications of limescale in the system:

  • The nozzle bodies do not open or close.

  • Error messages on the ISOBUS control terminal

Limescale must be eliminated with a special acidification product.

  1. Clean the field sprayer.
  2. Fill 20l to 50l of water into the spray liquid tank through the suction connection or pressure connection.
  3. Run the spray liquid pump.
  4. Pour a suitable acidification agent into the spray liquid tank through the inspection hatch. Observe the manufacturer's specifications for the amount.
  5. Allow the mixture to circulate in the spray liquid circuit for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Switch off the spray liquid pump.
  7. Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Dilute the mixture with flushing water until the mixture indicates a neutral pH by changing colour. For the desired colour, observe the manufacturer's specifications.

  9. If the machine is equipped with AmaSelect:

    Select in the Work menu several times. When the spray liquid pump is switched off, switch through all nozzle positions manually.

The diluted mixture is harmless and can be mixed with the spray agent for further operation.
