Determining the calibration factor for spreading material at standstill

The calibration factor is preferably determined automatically on the field using the weighing system or with FlowControl.

Calibration at standstill is performed on the left shutter using the calibration chute.

Calibration factor at standstill is suitable for:

  • Fine special spreading material

  • Machines without weighing system and without FlowControl

  1. Turn the left spreading disk such that the short spreading vanes point to the outside.
  1. Mount the calibration chute over the left spreading disk.
  2. Position a collection container under the left outlet opening.
  1. In the Settings menu, select >Calibration.
  2. Enter the intended speed.
  3. Enter the spread rate.
  4. Enter the working width.
  5. Continue.
  6. Check the prerequisites for calibration.
  7. Continue.

or

Cancel.

  1. Open the left sliding shutter.

During calibration, the control terminal shows the calibration time in seconds.

NOTE
If the spreading material does not flow continuously out of the shutter opening, set the calibration factor to 0.5 and repeat the calibration. Repeat calibration.
  1. As soon as the collection container is full, close the left shutter.
  2. Weigh the collected quantity.

To do this, use the scale from the GewindePack on the right, behind the mudguard.

  1. Enter the value for the weighed spreading material quantity in lb (kg).

The new calibration factor will be displayed.

  1. Continue.
  2. Save new calibration factor

or

Cancel calibration

or

Repeat calibration with a new calculated calibration factor.
