Determining the calibration factor via bulk density

If the fertilizer is unknown, the bulk density can be used as the starting value for the calibration factor.

The calibration kit can be used to do this.

  1. To determine the calibration factor:

    Completely fill the measuring funnel of the calibration kit with fertilizer and level it off.
  2. Hook the measuring funnel into the scale.
  3. Enter the weighed fertilizer quantity in lb (kg) as the calibration factor in the Field menu under >Product.
