Cleaning the hopper

The guard screen can be opened to clean the hopper.

  1. Switch off the spreading disk drive.
  2. Secure tractor and implement.

  3. To unlock the guard screen in the hopper:

    Remove the tool 1 from its parking position on the guard tube.
  1. Insert the tool into the locking mechanism on the guard screen 1 and swing it inward.

The guard screen is unlocked.

  1. Swing the guard screen upward until the arrest prevents it from falling back.
  2. Move the tool back into parking position.
  3. Remove any contaminants or fertilizer residues.
  4. Close and lock the guard screen.
