Cleaning the spreader unit

Components made of stainless steel corrode in contact with spreading material, the function is not affected. To protect against corrosion, the spreader unit must be cleaned after operation.

  1. Carefully remove any adhering contamination between the electric motor for AutoTS actuation and the frame cross profile.
  2. Remove adhered contamination on the radar sensors of the ArgusTwin system.
  3. Carefully clean the outlet openings and the shutters.
  4. Remove fertilizer deposits on spreading disks and spreading vanes.
  5. Treat the dry machine with an anti-corrosion agent.
NOTE

Only use biodegradable anti-corrosion agents.
