Filling the spreading material hopper

NOTE
To prevent blockages in the spreading material hopper, do not use moist or compacted fertiliser. Moist or compacted fertiliser affects the spreading properties.
  1. Observe the safety instructions provided by the spreading material manufacturer. Wear personal protective clothing as needed.
  2. Couple the machine onto the tractor.
  3. Raise the machine.

  1. To open the roll-up cover tarpaulin:

    Actuate the beige tractor control unit.

or

Release the locking mechanism. Open with the hand lever.

  1. Check the spreading material hopper for residues or foreign objects.
  1. In the Field menu, call up Filling.
  2. Enter the value for the area to be spread.

The target fill level will be calculated.

  1. Take account of residual quantity remaining in the spreading material hopper.
  2. Observe the actual fill level on the control terminal or based on the work lights and fill the hopper until the target fill level is reached.

Current fill level

Flashing

1.000kg or more until target fill level is reached

Flashing rapidly

200kg or more until target fill level is reached

Continuously lit

Target fill level is reached

  1. Close and lock the roll-up cover tarpaulin with the beige tractor control unit.
  2. Alternatively, close and lock the roll-up cover tarpaulin with the hand lever.
