Determining the calibration factor for the spreading material at a standstill

The calibration factor is preferably determined automatically on the field using the weighing system or with FlowControl.

Calibration at standstill is performed on the left shutter using the calibration chute.

Calibration factor at standstill is suitable for:

  • Fine special spreading material

  • Machines without weighing system and without FlowControl

  1. Turn the left spreading disc such that the short spreading vane points to the outside.
  1. Install the calibration chute over the left spreading disc.
  2. Position the collection bucket under the left outlet opening.
  1. In the Settings menu, select Calibration.
  2. Enter the intended speed.
  3. Enter the application rate.
  4. Enter the working width.
  5. Continue.
  6. Check the prerequisites for calibration.
  7. Continue.

or

Cancel.

  1. Open the left sliding shutter.

During calibration, the control terminal shows the calibration time in seconds.

NOTE
If the spreading material does not flow continuously out of the shutter opening, set the calibration factor to 0.5. Repeat the calibration.
  1. As soon as the collection bucket is full, close the left shutter.
  2. Weigh the collected quantity.

To do this, use the scale from the threaded cartridge on the right behind the dirt trap.

  1. Enter the value for the weighed spreading material quantity in kg.

The new calibration factor will be displayed.

  1. Continue.
  2. Save the new calibration factor

or

Abort calibration

or

Repeat the calibration with the new calculated calibration factor.
