Cleaning the hopper

The guard screen can be opened to clean the hopper.

  1. Switch off the spreading disc drive.
  2. Secure the tractor and machine.

  3. To unlock the guard screen in the hopper:

    Remove the tool 1 from its parking position on the guard tube.
  1. Insert the tool into the locking mechanism on the guard screen 1 and swing it inward.

The guard screen is unlocked.

  1. Swing the guard screen upward until the locking device prevents it from falling back.
  2. Put the tool back in its parking position.
  3. Remove any contaminants or fertiliser residues.
  4. Close and lock the guard screen.
