Filling the spray liquid tank via the suction connection

NOTE

This section describes the manual filling procedure. As an alternative to manual filling, a filling profile can be used, Using filling profiles.

NOTE
Depending on the season and marking on the machine, the machine can be delivered with a biodegradable antifreeze in the spray liquid tank. The antifreeze can either be sprayed out at first deployment with the spray liquid or it can be pumped out before filling the tank.
Antifreeze that was emptied out can be reused or disposed of properly.
  1. If the water hardness is above 15 °dH (2.7 mmol/l or 267 ppm):

    Add polyphosphate-based hardness stabilisers.
  1. Take both parts 1 of the suction hose out of the parking position.
  1. Couple the two parts of the suction hose together.
  2. Take the suction strainer out of the front storage compartment and install it on the suction hose.
  3. Place the end of the suction hose with the suction strainer in the withdrawal point.
  1. Open the cover 1 of the control panel.
  1. Set the filling options on the TwinTerminal, Setting the filling options.
  1. Take off the sealing cap 1.
  2. Couple the suction hose on the suction connection 2.
  1. Run the spray liquid pump.
  1. Enter target fill level for the spray liquid tank 1.
  2. Select the Spray liquid tank menu 2 on the TwinTerminal.
  3. To start the suction filling:

Select the function on the TwinTerminal.

When the spray liquid tank is being filled with water, the flushing water tank can be filled with water at the same time.

  1. If the flushing water tank should be filled at the same time:

Enter the desired target fill level for the flushing water tank 4.
  2. Select the Flushing water tank menu 3 on the TwinTerminal.
  3. To start the suction filling:

Select the function on the TwinTerminal.
  1. If spray agent will be added:

Flush in the spray agent during the filling procedure, Flushing in the spray agent through the induction bowl

or

Suction-extract the spray agent from a container during the filling procedure, Suction extraction of spray agent from containers.

  1. If the pH value of the finished spray liquid is higher than 7:

Add citric acid or a special acidifing agent.

If a filling pause is set, it will be automatically activated as soon as the set fill level has been reached.

The filling pause will be displayed on the TwinTerminal.

  1. To stop the filling pause:

    Lift the induction bowl

or

Select the function on the TwinTerminal.

NOTE
If automatic cleaning of the induction bowl is activated, the filling procedure for the spray liquid tank will be interrupted 20 before the target fill level is reached. The last 20 of liquid will be suctioned into the spray liquid tank from the induction bowl after automatic cleaning of the induction bowl.

Filling is automatically stopped when the target fill level has been reached.

After filling, the suction hose can only be disconnected from the suction connection after the suction hose has been suctioned empty.

  1. Take the suction hose out of the withdrawal point and confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Confirm that the spray liquid pump is running.

The suction hose will be automatically suctioned empty.

The TwinTerminal will show when the hose is suctioned empty.

  1. To additionally drain the suction hose through the suction basket:

With the lever 1 on the suction strainer, open the non-return valve and drain out the water remaining in the suction hose.
