Protecting the spraying equipment against frost

IMPORTANT
Risk of machine damage due to frost
Observe the following instructions.
  1. Unfold the boom, Unfolding the boom.
  2. Perform an intensive cleaning, Performing quick cleaning or intensive cleaning.
  3. Empty the flushing water tank.
  1. On the TwinTerminal, select the Special functions > Cleaning, winterising menu.

  1. To start the winterising procedure:

    Select the function on the TwinTerminal. Confirm the reference to the operating manual.

  1. If the machine is equipped with HighFlow+:

    Set the HighFlow+ switch tap to the position and confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Run the spray liquid pump and confirm.
  1. Couple the suction hose on the suction connection. Place the other end of the suction hose in a container with antifreeze. On the TwinTerminal, select suction filling.

  1. When the flushing water tank is filled with at least 100l of propylene glycol based antifreeze:

    Confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Lift the induction bowl and confirm.

Automatic internal cleaning of the spray liquid tank will be performed.

  1. When the internal cleaning is complete:

    Confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Set the switch tap QU to the position and confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Lower the induction bowl.
  2. Set switch tap EA to the position.
  3. Set switch tap EB to the position.
  4. Confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Hold the spray lance of the external wash-down device over the induction bowl and flush it out for 60 seconds. Confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Set switch tap EA to the position.
  2. Set switch tap EB to the position.
  3. Hold the spray gun on the induction bowl over the induction bowl and flush it out for 60 seconds.
  4. Confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Set switch tap EA to the position.
  2. Set switch tap EB to the position.
  3. Press the pushbutton on the induction bowl multiple times for 60 seconds.
  4. Confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Take the sealing cap off of the pressure connection and confirm on the TwinTerminal.

The pressure connection will be drained.

  1. Put the sealing cap on the pressure connection.
  1. Remove the suction hose or sealing cap from the suction connection and confirm on the TwinTerminal.

The winterising procedure keeps running.

The suction connection will be drained.

  1. When the button appears on the display:

    Confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  2. Put the sealing cap on the suction connection.
  1. Make sure that nobody is standing in the spraying area of the machine and confirm on the TwinTerminal.

Automatic flushing of the nozzles starts after 10 seconds.

  1. Switch off the spray liquid pump and confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Place a collection bucket under the emptying connection and confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  2. Check liquid in the collection bucket for adequate water to antifreeze ratio.

  3. If there is not enough antifreeze:

    Add more antifreeze and repeat the procedure.
  1. Confirm that the winterising procedure is complete on the TwinTerminal.

  1. If the machine is equipped with line filters:

    Drain all line filters with the stop tap 1.
  2. Close the stop taps for the line filters.

If the machine is equipped with HighFlow+, the HighFlow+ pressure filter 2 must also be cleaned.

  1. Place a collection bucket under the drain hose in front of the right rear wheel.
  2. Set the HighFlow+ switch tap 1 to the position.
  3. Drain the liquid until the HighFlow+ pressure filter is drained.
  4. Unscrew the HighFlow+ pressure filter, clean it and screw it back in.
  5. Place the HighFlow+ switch tap back in its initial position.
  1. Remove the adapter from the pressure sensor on the Super-L boom.
  2. Drain the pressure sensor.
  3. Install the adapter.
  1. Remove the adapter from the pressure sensor on the right agitator under the cover.
  2. Drain the pressure sensor.
  3. Install the adapter.
  1. Remove the pressure sensor for the flushing water tank underneath the flushing water tank.
  2. Drain the pressure sensor.
  3. Install the pressure sensor.
  1. Reuse the mixture of antifreeze and spray liquid

or

Dispose of the mixture correctly.

  1. Empty the hand wash unit. Leave stop tap HW open.
