Lifting the jack

  1. Turn the crank to relieve the jack.
  2. Pull out the spring cotter.
  3. Hold the jack by the handle 1 and pull out the pin.
  4. Lift the jack and insert the pin in the lowest position.
  5. Secure the pin with the spring cotter.
