adjusting the intensity of the cutter roller

PREREQUISITES

  • The cutting roller is lifted into transport position.

  1. Pull the linch pin.
  2. Pull pin.

  3. To increase the intensity of the cutting roller:

    Pivot fewer spacer elements onto the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder

or

To reduce the intensity of the cutting roller:

Pivot more spacer elements onto the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder.
NOTE

Pivot in spacer elements 1 to 6 from the fastening side of the hydraulic cylinder.

Pivot spacer elements 6 to 1 away from the cylinder side.

  1. Insert the pin through all of the spacer elements.
  2. Secure the pin with a linch pin.
  3. Make the same adjustments on all setting units.
