Checking to ensure that the conveyor belt is centered

  1. On the rear deflection pulley, visually check to ensure that the conveyor belt is centered.

The maximum permissible tolerance is 0,39 in (10mm).

  1. Center the conveyor belt as needed.

If the automatic belt control cannot prevent the conveyor belt from tracking to the outside, the drive drum must be adjusted. Perform the adjustment on the left side.

To center the conveyor belt, follow the sequence below.

  1. Clean the conveyor belt, Cleaning the inside of the conveyor belt.
  2. Unscrew the bolts of the side sealing plates 1 on both sides. Detach the conveyor belt scraper 2 and the scraper of the left drive drum 3.
  3. Unscrew the bolts of the left flange bearing 4.
  4. Turn the setting screw 5 1/2 turn to re-adjust the conveyor belt. Secure with nuts.

Conveyor belt tracks to the left – unscrew the screw.

Conveyor belt tracks to the right – screw in the screw.

  1. Retighten the bolts of the left flange bearing. Ensure that the flange bearing rests on the setting screw.
  2. Run the conveyor belt for 5 minutes via the Empty hopper function on the control terminal.
NOTE

At the same time, a second person must observe the conveyor belt.

  1. If the conveyor belt is not centered:

    Repeat the adjustment.

  2. Retighten the bolts of the side sealing plates. Adjust the conveyor belt scraper to a gap of 0,04 in (1mm), and adjust the drive drum scraper such that there is no gap 0 in (0mm).
NOTE

The next time fertilizer is spread, check floor belt for leak tightness.
