Replacing the oil in the spreading disc gearbox

PREREQUISITES

  • The temperature of the hydraulic oil must be at least 104 °F (40°C)

  1. Park the machine on a horizontal surface.
  2. Dismount the guard screen 1.
  3. Place an oil collection container under the oil drain.
  4. Dismount the drain plug in the middle 2 and outside 3 on the spreading disc gearbox.

  5. When the oil has drained out:

    Mount the 3 drain plugs.
  6. Dismount the fill plug 4.
  7. Pour in oil via the filler opening; see the technical data for the oil specification.
  8. Mount fill plug.
  9. Mount guard screen.
