Starting the spreading procedure

WARNING
Danger due to ejected parts from worn spreading vanes
Check the spreading vanes for visible defects every day before operation.
NOTE
If there is significant lime scale on the splash guard, do not use the automatic calibration with FlowControl.

The technical condition of the spreading vanes plays an important role in uniform fertilizer lateral distribution on the field. Worn spreading vanes can cause the formation of stripes.

PREREQUISITES

  • Working width and lateral distribution are checked with EasyCheck

  1. Switch on the control terminal or control computer.
  2. Check the settings on the control terminal or control computer.
  3. Run the spreading disks at the nominal speed.
  4. Drive onto the field.
  5. Operate the machine using the control terminal or control computer, see ISOBUS software operating manual or EasySet 2 control computer.
  6. Switch on spreading at the switch-on point from the mySpreader app or from the setting chart

Automatic switch on with Section Control.

  1. After longer road transport with a full spreading material hopper, ensure that the implement is spreading correctly, when starting to spread.

  2. When boundary spreading begins:

    Switch on the boundary spreading system. Drive around the field.
  3. After boundary spreading, switch off the boundary spreading system.
  4. Switch off spreading after the spreading procedure.
