Fertilizer hopper and seed hopper

For an machine with fertilizer equipment the metering units 5 are installed under the hopper chambers 1 and 2. The giver unit 3 of the Central Seed Supply System is installed under the hopper chamber 4.

Depending on the equipment, an electric scale may be installed on the fertilizer hopper.

For an machine without fertilizer equipment the giver units 2 of the Central Seed Supply System are installed under the hopper chambers 1.

Depending on the equipment, an electric scale may be installed on the seed hopper.

The filling procedure can be observed from the ladder 1 and the loading board 2.

The grating screens 1 keep foreign objects out of the machine and they can be used as a placement area when filling the hopper chambers with bagged goods. It is possible to carry bags with a maximum weight of 44,09 lb (20kg) on the grating screens when the hopper cover is closed.

The hopper covers seal the hopper chambers so that they are pressure-tight. When the fan is switched on, pressure is built up in the conveyor section, in the seed hopper, and in the fertilizer hopper.

Each hopper chamber is equipped with a fill level sensor 1 to monitor the fill level. When the spreading material no longer covers the fill level sensor, the control terminal displays a warning message and an alarm signal sounds. The fill level sensor can be fastened in the upper position 2 or lower position 3, depending on the spreading material.

The interior lighting of the hopper is switched on with the driving lights of the tractor.
