Emptying the fertilizer hopper via the metering unit

  1. Deactivate all fans.

  2. If the implement has a double sluice:

    Use the lever 2 to activate the conveyor section 1.
  1. Unlock the closing lever 1 on the metering unit housing.
  2. Open the calibration flap 2.

  1. If only small residual quantities must be collected:

    Slide the calibration container 1 into the receptacle 2

or

If larger residual quantities must be collected:

Place a suitable collection container under the metering unit housing.

  1. To empty the hopper, the metering unit, and the metering roller:

  1. To activate both conveyor sections:

    Bring the lever 1 into the center position.
  1. Empty the calibration container.

  2. For a new use:

    Close the calibration flap 2. Lock the closing lever 1 on the metering unit housing.

or

For a longer period of decommissioning:

Leave the calibration flap open.

Accumulating condensation can flow out downward.

  1. If present, empty the other hopper chambers in the same way.
