Cleaning the conveyor section

Interval

  • At end of season

  1. Unlock all closing levers 2 on the metering unit housing.

  2. To prevent moisture from accumulating:

    Open all calibration flaps 1.
  1. Unscrew the knurled screws 4.
  2. Take off the cover 1.

  3. To remove the deposits:

    Aim a water jet into the seed outlets 3 and into the corrugated tube 2.
  4. Mount the cover.
  5. Tighten the knurled screws hand tight.
  6. Close all calibration flaps.

  7. To dry the conveyor section:

    Switch on the fan for 5 minutes.
