Emptying the seed hopper via the giver unit

WARNING

Before working with hazardous materials, put on the protective clothing recommended by the manufacturer.
  1. Deactivate all fans.
  2. Unscrew the knurled screw 1. Pivot it to the side.
  3. Pull the sliding shutter 3 out of its parking position.

The cover 2 is opened.

  1. Move the sliding shutter 1 into the seed giver unit 2.

The seed flow is interrupted for the desired side.

  1. Turn the lever 1 until the latch engages in the groove 5.

The desired emptying flap 2 remains closed.

  1. Turn the lever 3 into the center position.

The emptying flap 4 swings downward.

The seed present in the seed giver unit flows out.

  1. Open the emptying flap 7.

The seed present in the seed giver unit flows out.

  1. Collect the seed in a suitable container.
  1. To empty the hopper:

    Slowly pull the sliding shutter 1 out of the seed giver unit 2.

The seed present in the hopper flows out of the seed giver unit.

  1. Collect the seed in a suitable container.
  2. To take the remaining seed out of the taker unit:

    Open the emptying flaps on the opposite side.
  3. Bring the sliding shutter into parking position.
  4. Close the cover.
  5. Pivot the knurled screw in front of the cover and tighten it.
  6. For a new use:

    Close the emptying flaps

or

For a longer period of decommissioning:

Leave the emptying flaps open.

Accumulating condensation can flow out downward.
