Mounting the battery

If the battery was dismounted for storage at temperatures above freezing, it must be re-installed for operation.

  1. Check the voltage of the battery in rest phase.

Battery status

12,8V to 12,65V

The battery is fully charged.

12,6V to 12,4V

The battery is half charged.

< 12V

The battery is discharged.

  1. If the battery voltage is less than 12V:

    Charge the battery

or

If the battery does not hold a charge:

Replace the battery.

IMPORTANT
Destruction of the generator when the battery is dismounted
Keep the fan switched off.

  1. If necessary to access the battery:

    unfold the implement.

  2. Place the battery 2 in the holder.

  3. Mount the battery holder 1.

  4. To prevent short circuits:

    First mount the positive terminal +.

  5. Then mount the negative terminal -.

  6. If terminal covers are present:

    Fit terminal covers on the battery.
