Calibrating the spread rate
PREREQUISITES
Fertilizer hopper is at least 1/4 full of spreading material
- In the menu Settings > Machine, select > Hopper selection.
- Set the checkmark under Combine fertilizer hoppers.
During calibration, both metering units rotate at the same speed.
Provide both metering units with a calibration container.
To activate the conveyor 2 section:
Activate the lever 1.
- Unlock the closing lever 1 on the metering unit housing.
- Open the calibration flap 2.
- Take the calibration container 1 out of the storage compartment.
- Slide the calibration container under the metering unit housing and into the receptacle 2.
To fill the metering roller:
press the Calibration button for 10 seconds.- Empty the calibration container.
- Suspend the calibration container with the calibration scale on the weighing point.
To tare the calibration scale:
Switch on the calibration scale with the empty calibration container.- Slide the calibration container back into the receptacle under the metering housing.

To determine an exact calibration factor, fill the seed remaining in the sluice into the calibration container.
- Empty the calibration container.
- Place the calibration container in the storage compartment.
- Close the calibration flap 2.
- Lock the closing lever 1 on the metering unit housing.
When the machine is operated with 2 types of fertilizer:
Calibrate the spread rate for the second fertilizer type.
After calibration, bring the lever into the desired position. If the fertilizer hoppers are combined, the first metering unit supplies the left half-side and the second metering unit supplies the right half-side.
To activate the left conveyor section:
Swing the lever 1 of the first metering unit to the right side.To activate the right conveyor section:
Swing the lever 2 of the second metering unit to the left side.
or
If the machine is operated with 2 types of fertilizer:
Set the lever in the middle on both metering units.
