Turning on headlands

After the tools have been lifted out, stop the metering rollers. Depending on the implement equipment, when the fan is running, seed exits the coulters until the conveyor section is emptied. If necessary, the time window for lifting and lowering the tools can be adjusted.

  1. To keep fan speed fluctuations to a minimum when lifting out the rear frame:

    Give the tractor control unit for the fan drive priority

or

If the tractor does not have a priority assignment:

On the tractor control unit, set the flow rate for rear frame lift-out as low as possible.
  1. Before turning, lift out the rear frame with the green 2 tractor control unit.

In automatic mode, the wheel mark eradicator automatically swivels into transport position.

  1. To prevent implement damage:

    Pay attention to obstacles when turning.

  2. If the direction of the implement is the same as the direction of travel:

    Lower the rear frame with the green 1 tractor control unit.

In automatic mode, the wheel mark eradicator automatically swivels into working position.
