Emptying the hopper via the metering unit

WARNING
Risk of accident in road traffic due to excessive loads
When the hoppers are full, there is a risk of serious traffic accidents due to implement damage or uncontrollable driving behaviour of the tractor.
Empty the hoppers before road travel.
WARNING
Risk of chemical burns by dressing dust
Before working with hazardous materials, put on the protective clothing recommended by the manufacturer.
  1. Switch off the fan.
  1. Unlock the locking lever 1 on the metering housing.
  2. Open the calibration flap 2.
  1. Push the calibration bucket 1 into the holder 2 under the metering housing.

For larger quantities, the emptying procedure must be repeated.

  1. To empty the hopper, the metering unit and the metering roller:

    Refer to the ISOBUS software operating manual, Emptying.
  1. Empty the calibration bucket.
  2. Put the calibration bucket in the storage compartment.
  3. Close the calibration flap 2 and lock the locking lever 1

To prevent the accumulation of moisture during longer periods of standstill:

Open all of the calibration flaps.
