Calibrating the application rate
REQUIREMENTS
The fertiliser hopper is at least 1/4 full with spreading material
- In the Settings menu, select Machine > Hopper selection.
- Set the checkmark under Combine fertiliser hoppers.
During calibration, both metering units rotate at the same speed.
Put a calibration bucket under each metering unit.
To activate the conveyor section 2:
actuate the lever 1.
- Unlock the locking lever 1 on the metering housing.
- Open the calibration flap 2.
- Take the calibration bucket 1 from the storage compartment.
- Push the calibration bucket into the holder 2 under the metering housing.
To fill the metering roller:
Actuate the calibration button for 10 seconds.- Empty the calibration bucket.
- Hang the calibration bucket with the calibration scale on the weighing point.
To tare the calibration scale:
switch on the calibration scale with the empty calibration bucket.- Push the calibration bucket into the holder under the metering housing again.
To start the calibration via the control terminal:
Refer to the ISOBUS software operating manual, Calibration menu.
To determine a precise calibration factor, fill the seed remaining in the sluice into the calibration bucket.
- Empty the calibration bucket.
- Put the calibration bucket in the storage compartment.
- Close the calibration flap 2.
- Lock the locking lever 1 on the metering housing.
When the machine is operated with 2 types of fertiliser:
Calibrate the application rate for the second fertiliser.
After the calibration, move the lever to the desired position. If the fertiliser hoppers are combined, the first metering unit supplies the left half-side and the second metering unit the right half-side.
To activate the left conveyor section:
Swivel the lever 1 for the first metering unit to the right side.To activate the right conveyor section:
Swivel the lever 2 for the second metering unit to the left side.
or
When the machine is operated with 2 types of fertiliser:
Set the lever to the centre on both metering units.
