Cleaning the emitting unit

  1. Deactivate all of the fans.
WARNING
Risk of chemical burns by dressing dust
Before working with hazardous materials, put on the protective clothing recommended by the manufacturer.
  1. Loosen the knurled screw 1 and swivel it to the side.
  2. Take the sliding shutter 3 from its parking position.

The cover 2 is opened.

  1. Insert the sliding shutter 1 into the seed emitting unit 2.
  1. Turn the lever 1 until the lock engages in the groove 5.

The desired emptying flap 2 remains closed.

  1. Turn the lever 3 to the centre position.

The emptying flap 4 swivels down.

The seed contained in the emitting unit flows out.

  1. Collect the seed in a suitable container.
  2. Clean the emitting unit.
  3. Repeat the cleaning procedure on all of the emitting units.
  4. To resume operation:

    Close the emptying flap.

or

For longer periods out of operation:

Leave the emptying flaps open.

Any condensation water can then drain out.
