Adjusting the smooth cutting disc

The smooth cutting discs cut through plant residues and cut into the soil in the area of the seeding coulter. As a result, the coulter penetrates more easily into heavy soils. Smooth running of the seeding units is ensured on soils with coarse surface structures.

Depending on cultivation conditions, it may be possible to spread seed without soil tillage. Dry but not too heavy or clayey soils are required.

  1. Lift the implement.
  2. Secure the tractor and implement.
  3. Remove the nuts and washers 1.
  4. Remove the bolts 5.
  5. Move the bracket 4 to the desired height.
  6. Install the bolt.
  7. Install the nuts and washers and tighten them.

If the setting range is not enough, install the cutting disc 3 at the desired height on the bracket.

  1. Remove the nut and washers 2.
  2. Install the cutting disc at the desired height on the bracket.
  3. Install the nut and washer.

  4. To check the setting:

    Drive for 30m at working speed. Check the work pattern.
