Briefly interrupting operation

Before every work interruption, the boom and the nozzles must be flushed. The suction filter and pressure filter must be cleaned.

If the machine is equipped with HighFlow+: The separate HighFlow+ pressure filter cannot be removed and cleaned when the spray liquid tank is full.

  1. Select Field menu > Cleaning > Boom flushing.

  1. To flush the spray nozzles with flushing water:

    Select Spray out flushing liquid 1.
  2. Start the flushing procedure.
  3. Apply the flushing water on an untreated area.
  4. End the flushing procedure.

Immediately after flushing the boom, the liquid circuit must be shut off to prevent the boom from becoming contaminated with spray agent again.

  1. Pull the lever for pressure valve chest DA forward.

The liquid circuit is blocked.

  1. Place a collection bucket under the emptying connection.
  2. Select in the Special functions menu on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Ensure that a suction hose is not coupled to the suction connection.
  2. Confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Make sure that the spray liquid pump is running.
  2. Confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Activate the vent valve of the suction filter 1 for 20 seconds.

The suction filter will be suctioned empty.

  1. Confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Take out the suction filter.
  2. Confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Clean the suction filter with water.
  1. Re-insert the suction filter.
  2. Confirm that the suction filter cleaning has been completed on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Select on the stop tap DE.

The pressure filter will be drained.

  1. When spray liquid no longer flows out:

    Close the stop tap DE.
  1. Select in the Special functions menu on the TwinTerminal.

The pressure filter will be drained for 5 seconds.

  1. Take out the pressure filter.
  2. Confirm on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Clean the pressure filter with water.
  1. Put the pressure filter back in.
  2. Confirm that the pressure filter has been cleaned on the TwinTerminal.
  1. Push the lever for the pressure valve chest DA into its initial position.

The liquid circuit is released.

  1. To resume working:

    Run the spray liquid pump.
  1. In the Field menu > Agitation > , select Agitate spray liquid.
  2. Agitate the spray liquid with maximum agitator capacity for 5 minutes.

After the spray liquid has been agitated, the machine is ready for operation.
