Use the drawbar
The drawbar allows braked trailers to be hitched behind the machine in accordance with the technical data, Drawbar.
To couple a trailer to the machine:
Open the drawbar with the lever 2.
The display 1 on the drawbar drops into the groove when in the open position.
- Move the trailer close to the drawbar.
The drawbar closes automatically when it comes into contact with the trailer's drawbar eye.
When in the closed position, the display on the drawbar pops out of the groove.
- Insert the connector for the power supply into the socket.
- Connect the trailer's brake lines to the brake connections.
The drawbar of the trailer must be long enough to prevent collisions with the boom when driving in curves.
- During a test drive with a coupled trailer, carefully turn the steering wheel all the way. Keep a close eye on the trailer at all times. Ensure that the trailer never comes so close to the boom that a collision is possible.
To uncouple a trailer from the machine:
Disconnect the trailer's brake lines from the brake connections.- Unplug the power supply from the socket.
- Open the drawbar with the lever 3.
The display 2 on the drawbar drops into the groove when in the open position.
- Pull the trailer out of the drawbar.
- Close the drawbar with the lever 1.
When in the closed position, the display on the drawbar pops out of the groove.
