Checking the valves in the spray liquid pumps

WARNING
Health hazard due to accidental contact with crop protection products
Clean the spray liquid circuit of the machine with flushing water.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The machine is cleaned.

  1. Remove the hose connections of the spray liquid pump.
  2. Remove the spray liquid pump.
  1. Remove the bolts 1.
  2. Remove the pressure port 4 and the suction port 2.
  3. Take out the valve groups 3. In doing so, pay attention to the installation position of the suction-side and pressure-side valves.
  4. Check the valve, valve seat, valve spring and valve guide for wear and damage.
  5. Replace damaged parts.
  6. Clean all parts.
  7. Install the white pressure valves and the black suction valves. In doing so, make sure that the valve guides are not damaged.
  8. Insert new O-rings.
  9. Install the pressure port and the suction port on the pump housing. Tighten the bolts crosswise in the process.
  10. Install the spray liquid pump.
  11. Install the hose connections for the spray liquid pump pressure-tight.
  12. Check the spray liquid pump for leaks.

If spray liquid emerges from the pump, stop operating the pump. Contact the dealer.
