Checking the piston diaphragms of the spray liquid pumps

Clean the spray liquid circuit of the machine with flushing water.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The machine is cleaned.

  1. Remove the hose connections of the spray liquid pump.
  2. Remove the spray liquid pump.
  3. Turn the spray liquid pump until the piston to be checked is on top. Oil must not emerge from the pump housing.
  1. Remove the bolts 1.
  2. Remove the pressure port 4 and the suction port 2.
  3. Take out the valve groups 3. In doing so, pay attention to the installation position of the suction-side and pressure-side valves.
  1. Remove the bolts 3.
  2. Take off the cylinder head 2.
  3. Check the piston diaphragm 1.
  4. If a piston diaphragm is damaged:

    Replace all of the piston diaphragms, Replacing the piston diaphragms of the spray liquid pumps.
  5. Install the cylinder head. Then check the next piston diaphragm.
  6. Check each of the piston diaphragms consecutively in this way.
  1. Check and clean the white pressure valves and the black suction valves 3, and then install them. In doing so, make sure that the valve guides are not damaged.
  2. Insert new O-rings.
  3. Install the pressure port 4 and the suction port 2 on the pump housing. Tighten the bolts 1 crosswise in the process.
  4. Install the spray liquid pump.
  5. Install the hose connections for the spray liquid pump pressure-tight.
  6. Check the spray liquid pump for leaks.

If spray liquid emerges from the pump, stop operating the pump. Contact the dealer.
