Setting the work profile
- In the Field menu, select Work profiles.
The active work profile is opened.
- Activate or deactivate the pulse width frequency modulation.
- Enter the target rate for full-area spraying. Please refer to the spray table and the nozzle manufacturer’s specifications.
- Open the Nozzle configuration.
- Select nozzle 1.
- Set the nozzle colour.
- Set the flow rate at 3bar. Please refer to the spray table and the nozzle manufacturer’s specifications.
- Select the Droplet size classes.
- Set the maximum spray pressure for each droplet size class in accordance with the nozzle manufacturer’s specifications.
- Go back to the work profile configuration.
- Set the spray pressure for nozzle 1.
The optimum speed range and the droplet size class that can be achieved at the set spray pressure are displayed below the setting.
- Set the nozzle configuration for nozzle 2, nozzle 3 and nozzle 4. Set the spray pressure for nozzle 2, nozzle 3 and nozzle 4.
- Scroll to the next page of the work profile configuration.
- Enter the minimum and maximum spray pressure.
- Select the working width.
- Under Working width, enter the total working width in m.
- Under End nozzles, enter the width for the end nozzle control in m.
To use edge nozzles:
Select the desired edge nozzle type under Edge nozzle type. Confirm with
.
The Manual part-width sections setting allows you to define part-width sections manually in order to control adjacent single nozzles together.
- Under Manual part-width sections, enter the number of manual part-width sections.
- Scroll to the next page of the working width configuration.
- Select Configure part-width sections.
- and select the part-width sections.
Enter the width or number of nozzles for each part-width section.
Save entries.
To control manually defined part-width sections symmetrically on both sides of the boom:
Activate Symmetrical part-width sections. To selectively activate or deactivate manually defined part-width sections:
Select Activate part-width sections. Activate or deactivate part-width sections.
Confirm.- Go back to the work profile configuration.
If pulse width frequency modulation is activated for the work profile:
Leave the Minimum duty cycle setting at the default value of 30%. Do not make any changes without first consulting Customer Service.
If necessary, the behaviour of CurveControl when driving in curves can be adjusted as follows:
Normal metering: optimised metering in the inner and outer area, factory setting
Under-metering: tolerance of under-metering in the outer area when the optimised metering cannot be maintained.
Over-metering: tolerance of over-metering in the inner area when the optimised metering cannot be maintained.
Constant pressure: operation at a constant spray pressure despite adjusted metering
To adjust the behaviour of CurveControl for driving in curves:
Select the desired setting under Metering.- Scroll to the next page of the work profile configuration.
- Switch on CurveControl
or
Switch off CurveControl.
- Save the work profile. Go back to the work profile selection.
