Configuring fertilisers

  1. In the Settings menu, select Products > Fertiliser.

On implements with decentralised metering units, enter the metering wheel volume per row. On implements with central metering units, enter the metering roller volume for all rows.

  1. Under Metering wheel, select the desired metering wheel or select ... in the selection menu above and enter a user-defined metering wheel volume

or

Under Metering rollers, select the desired metering roller volume or select ... in the selection menu above and enter a user-defined metering roller volume.

  1. Enter the desired spread rate under Target spread rate.

The calibration area corresponds to the area on which fertiliser is spread during calibration.

  1. Enter the desired calibration area.
  2. Enter an empirical value as the calibration factor

or

Keep the value.

  1. Press .

  2. If you want to monitor how much fertiliser is left:

    Set the checkmark under Low level monitoring.
  3. Enter the percent rate increase under Rate increase in the adjacent rows.

  4. To adjust the switch-on and switch-off time:

    see Configuring Section Control.

  5. If the fertiliser should be spread in portions synchronously with the seed:

    Set the checkmark under Activate FertiSpot

or

If the fertiliser should not be spread synchronously with the seed, similar to strip placement:

Remove the checkmark under Activate FertiSpot. MultiSpot is active.

The position of the FertiSpot fertiliser portions can be corrected.

  1. Press .

  2. To shift the fertiliser portions in the direction of travel:

    Enter a positive value under Correction of fertiliser position

or

To shift the fertiliser portions opposite to the direction of travel:

Enter a negative value under Correction of fertiliser position
