Using FertiSpot

When FertiSpot is active, the fertiliser is spread in portions synchronously with the seed. Spotting active is shown in the Work menu.

When MultiSpot is active, the fertiliser is not spread in portions synchronously with the seed. The spreading is comparable to strip placement. The Work menu shows Spotting inactive.

If the implement is converted to strip placement, Spotting inactive is shown in the Work menu.

  1. To configure FertiSpot:

    Configuring fertilisers

or

Open the Settings Products > Fertiliser menu.

  1. To activate the desired mode:

    Select the desired mode under FertiSpot.

  2. To correct the position of the fertiliser portions:

    Enter the desired value under Correction of fertiliser position.
NOTE
As soon as the Spotting active 1 display is highlighted yellow, the fertiliser portions are not being spread synchronously with the seed.

  1. If the Spotting active display is continuously highlighted yellow:

    Perform a diagnosis on the FertiSpot metering unit.
NOTE

With certain error messages regarding FertiSpot system, no fertiliser is spread.

  1. As soon as error messages regarding the FertiSport system appear:

    Stop working immediately.
  2. Perform a diagnosis on the FertiSpot metering unit.
